MATINA – KORDI ANTONOPOULOU
Matina Kordi – Antonopoulou was born in the island of Chios. She was awarded a LL.B. with distinction from the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She accomplished her postgraduate studies in the Law School of Munich, specializing in Commercial Law, as a DAAD scholar.
She received her PhD from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a distinction. Her thesis’ topic was “Complementary Contributions in Limited Company”. Matina Kordi - Antonopoulou was subsequently appointed as an Assistant and then as a Lecturer in the sector of Commercial and Economic Law, in the School of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and she eventually became an Associate Professor, after having served from all the positions of ΔΕΠ, that exist in between.
As a professor, Matina Kordi Antonopoulou has mainly taught the subjects of Company Law, Bankruptcy Law, Securities Law, Accounting for Commercial Companies, Financial Markets Law. Nowadays, she also teaches in the Master Section of the Commercial and Economic Law in the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is a member of the Association of Greek Commercialists.
She has produced the publications: «Complementary Contributions in Limited Company», «Endorsement of Bill of Exchange», «Documents of Financial Credit System», «Endorsers Responsibility in Bill of Exchange and Check», «Corporate Lending in Limited Company», «Introduction to Stock of Exchange Law», «Financial Markets Law». She has also published various indepented studies in numerous Law Journals.
